Section 19: Employee Assistance Program
Many local employers have an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available to their employees to assist with personal problems. This benefit provides confidential consultation and. or referral to an approved mental health clinician or agency to assist in resolving difficulties such as family or marital crisis, emotional and behavioral problems, drug and alcohol abuse, and financial and legal problems. Parents and guardians seeking assistance are encouraged to explore the resources available through their Employee Assistance Program.
Due to frequent changes in coverage for various EAP programs, an accurate listing of EAP contacts is best obtained from the employer.
