Bayside High School
Bayside High School’s NJROTC is now ranked #4 in the nation after their outstanding performance in the Area 7 Brain Brawl National Championship held April 19-21 at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Team members include Nathan Johnstone, who also placed third in the individual competition; Thomas Kang; Kristopher Fisher; Jake Raia, and Shelby Dalbec.
Freedom 7 Elementary
Freedom 7 second graders took collective action as they advocated for environmental change through a beach clean-up organized by their teachers through KBB (Keep Brevard Beautiful). Students, teachers, and chaperones covered a lot of ground up and down
the shoreline, collecting a variety of trash and recyclable items. Teachers observed many local residents showing their appreciation of the students’ efforts throughout the trip, which helps in spreading awareness in the community.
