A Note of Thanks
The Dairy Society has had a year of change since Ros Rimmer and Claire Ward resigned their
positions as Breed Secretary and Office Manager back in May.

I wanted to say a special thank you
to Ros and Claire on behalf of the
society for the time and effort they
gave whilst working with us. They
invested their hearts and souls into
their jobs, this allowed them to be
attainable to members day and
sometimes night to sort out any
issues that arose.
Our Society had been through
a short time of uncertainty and
disruption prior to Ros’s arrival. It
was through her determined hard
work, working well along side the
officer holders at the time, that she
helped steer our Society to where
we are today. The very successful
World Conference was a tremendous
success for her and the team. Ros’s
professional approach insured the
Society gained much respect within
the farming industry.
Claire gave unswerving loyalty over
twelve years seeing and being part
of many changes and was always
a bedrock behind the scenes. Her
friendliness and the quiet way she
efficiently completed all her work
was outstanding. No task was too
hard or too menial. All the numerous
responsibilities that her job entailed
were safe in her hands. It was also
good to have her at the end of the
phone to brighten members days.
We all wish them every success in
their future ventures.
