AUTHOR
Henk de Jong works for international organisations (profit and non profits) on: Organisational Capacity Building, policy, strategy and business development. He headed the department of International Affairs at Bartimeus from 2003 - 2013, creating and implementing employment and business start up programs with organisations for the blind in Africa and East Europe.
Henk lived and worked in Cameroon (micro credit), Cambodia (elections) and Bhutan (country director SNV Bhutan).
He directed bhutan+partners foundation, creating business/sports/cultural relations between Bhutan and Europe and was strategic advisor for the Bhutan Film
Trust. In this capacity he directed and produced several documentaries and TV programs on Bhutan. Henk owns a business consultancy firm, Dragonmills Ltd. From 2016 till July 2018 he worked at VSO Cambodia as project advisor and researcher to strengthen provincial Civil Society Networks. Henk studied communication sciences at the Wageningen University and social/institutional changes at the University of applied sciences at Utrecht.
