I repeat that to describe yourself as a managing agent does not make you one. Nor do you become one by plagiarising the website of a bona fide property management company like Canonbury. You become one by authentic qualifications and experience. A graphic designer has no business to hold himself out as having relevant experience. Indeed the unfortunate history of Mitre House since MHML acquired the head lease provides conclusive proof that you are wholly unsuitable and incompetent to do so. Let me provide examples in relation to the recent Section 20 process and the subsequent project for the refurbishment of Mitre House.
I’m afraid you’ve got me on that one but I do believe it’s a pretty spiteful and petty attempt to further discredit ourselves for no other reason than being Mrs Hillgarth’s bête-noir.
My previous comments as to our undoubted ability to manage Mitre House quite adequately without a list of qualifications is valid and although I readily admit and have apologised for having permitted the content you refer to, to be published on one page of our very limited, private, almost unknown outside of Mitre House website, I think reference to this in the wider aspect of everything else is uncalled for save for Mrs Hillgarth finding yet one more reason to complain.
She was initially most enthusiastic for the website but later calling it rubbish, irrelevant, a waste of time, not fathomable nor useful and certainly not containing the content I constantly referred to in replies to her emails.
I can confirm that Mitre House Management Limited does have some first hand experience in dealing with RTM applications [Mrs Hillgarth] and indeed instigating RTM applications. Good valuable experience but I admit nowhere near the 85% claimed on Canonbury’s excellent site, for which I again offer my apologies, and for those of millions of other websites world-wide who have disgraced themselves with the odd borrowing here and there. It’s incorrect, it’s covered in law but it’s hardly a hanging offence in our instance.
Your comment that a graphic designer has no business to hold himself out as having relevant experience – and - Indeed the unfortunate history of Mitre House since MHML acquired the head lease provides conclusive proof that you are wholly unsuitable and incompetent to do so.
On the contrary on both points – my Graphic Design ability [indeed I, like many other trained art students studying for five years on many aspects prefer as in my case to be considered a designer as opposed to pigeon-holing to one particular talent and as such I also consider myself to be an accomplished Interior Designer, the preferred pastime of many ladies who lunch] is well evidenced on our whole corporate identity from our letterhead, the Quarterly Demands’ statements, the building’s signage and all any miscellaneous pieces of stationery. Leaving aside the multitude of various and varied presentations over three years referencing the recent Works, the mapping and organising the recent TV Sky install, the organising and presentation of multiple Schedule of Works analyses and of course the website, which, leaving aside the previously and apologised for misfeasance is useful to lessees and to MHML for posting documents.
Mrs Hillgarth has made abundantly clear her alternative opinion in her letter to me dated 1st April 2015. Mrs Hillgarth states in her letter:
