will state as follows:
With reference to audio clips, coup de grace and extended. - paper turning at various points in the coup tape.
- clicks if audible from the original would easily been removed with the most basic of edit- ing tools using cross fades. These clicks are the paper turning that happen throughout the clip in various forms.
- as a sound recordist this type of recording is very hard to edit clips to be as smooth as this one is because of the noise level and reverb of the dialogue meaning replacing words is very tricky.
Overpage is a screen grab of the whole clip they sent. The audio clips are all over the place and after boosting 2330hz and this has no effect on the change in room tone, also the song in the background going through the clip that seems consistent so there is no change in room tone.
No editor would cludly clip audio in a word. the clip they are referring too happens right over the word BE, this doesn't make editorial sense and once combined with the song in the background gives me the solid opinion that this has not been tampered with.
