Mr Brown-Constable has sent me a copy of his le:er to you dated 3 June 2017. It has been explained to Mr Brown-Constable that the annual accounts of the Respondent company are not compliant with S.20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 so that it is open (but Nme consuming) for one or more tenants to make an S.20 applicaNon for accounts in statutory form which will then give that one or those more tenants an opportunity to require inspecNon of the financial documentaNon for each financial year within 6 months of receipt of S.20 compliant accounts.
It is the Applicant’s case that the more resistance Mr Brown-Constable makes to disclosure, the greater the suspicion of what will be discovered once those documents are finally disclosed.
