Paul,
please find attached the details for Marbleshine, they seem to be able to work miracles on stone and marble, i have no idea of cost, but if it is thousands they can be dropped, but good news that you have done a sample of the floor and it cleaned up well. I am fully aware that you spent a lot of time putting together various presentations, and i am sure the due diligence was appreciated by your co directors, the problem here is that everybody's taste is different, so it seems to me that if we paint the common parts , as you mention in your final paragraph, in one colour, which i am sure we can agree on, clean the floor and do the carpentry work, is this not enough ?. There was mention of a mirror in the lift, can't be to complicated to arrange that.
I see that this has become all very personal, problem is the directors fight and the lessee's are caught in the middle, if we could lay aside the personal issues for a while then maybe we could get the work done.
If we can agree a short but concise list of work to be done inc wall colour, carpentry, keeping it simple, i will talk to the other flats and see if we can move ahead.
Regards Clp

Thanks Chris -
Seems we do have a common opinion as to the relative simplicity and reasonableness of costs in tarting up this place in a satisfactory and attractive manner - but that is not what was relayed back by Michele and others from your meeting on June 17 and indeed copied in to you no doubt. In fact all email correspondence referred to a unanimous decision (although even that was disputed by one attendee who said no vote was taken on anything).
