BAFTA East Coast
afta East Coast and Thirteen/WNET held a special event at Thirteen’s studios in New York for Allies At War to be shown on PBS this Spring. The series, produced by 3BM TV for WNET and the BBC, is about Roosevelt, Churchill and De Gaulle and their private and per- sonal battles behind the public show of unity. After the screening of an edited highlight reel BAFTA
members enjoyed a Q&A. Seen here from left to right are: Curtis Roosevelt, FDR’s grandson who appears in the programme; Ward Chamberlin, VP of Thirteen/WNET who also did the voice for FDR in the film and Stephen Segaller, Director of News and Public Affairs at WNET.

Nothing represents your creative vision better than film. Nothing reproduces color and motion or captures effects quite like it. Nothing is as natural. As personal. But, the reality is that using film also makes good business sense. Film can be transferred to and displayed on almost any format in the world. It is the most flexible medium out there.
