again recently... for present day rural Louisiana.
This was the setting for Don’t Look Back, a £55,000, 30-minute chiller thriller from director Nicholas Sherard, who started in the industry as a runner 14 years ago.
Based on the harrowing true story of a mysterious murder, the short - first of an intended trilogy from Sherard - stars Stephen Marcus, Kevin Howarth, Charlotte Rogers, Donald Standen and Pippa Edwards. It was
shot on Fuji 100 and 400 by cine- matographer John Keen.
Sherard, also an experienced actor and editor, said that Don’t
Look Back is to be showcased at the Warner West End cinema later this year. Together with his writer brother Gerry, he is also planning his first fea- ture, The Princess of No Man’s Land, set during World War One.
Incidentally, Sherard hasn’t forgot- ten his roots for as well as developing his various film projects he has also launched The Runners Club, a dedicat- ed agency for runners and the people who need them. He reports that the interest is intense. ■
