 Diego -
Sincere apologies - but I have only just spotted your Flat 9's continuing email text beneath your requested lighting units (email dated 22 July @ 16.01)
For clarification, I reproduce the section I neglected to respond to below with comments:
As said before, I believe we have already gone through this process many times in the last years and have already voted and decided the general style of the interiors (classic, see previous correspondence).
My vote is in line with what already agreed by the majority of lessees and therefore any non reply should be considered as an agreement with the majority.
You are kindly invited to acknowledge it (even if in disagreement with what you would personally like) and keep track of what already decided in order to avoid any further waste of time for all Lessees.
For your convenience here is a summary of some of the things already decided by the majority:
- The general interior style is going to be classic (see description and pictures already provided many times)
- The lights in the entrance are going to be the classic London Lanterns in big size (proportionate to the ceilings) and polished brass finish (no bronze and no antique finish) in order to match the original door fittings in Mitre House
- The Liberty lightings have already been voted out for obvious reasons (already explained to you) and should not be proposed again
- The landing lights are going to be in a plain style and possibly with a brass finish. Pictures and suggestions are provided above of easy selection
Also, we have just engaged and will pay a professional company (A&R Lawrence) to deal with the entire refurbishment. They are certainly best placed to provide us examples and trusted suppliers (good quality and durability) to select the final finishing in line with the decided style (also for the lightings) for all Lessees to consider.
Looking forward to seeing the proposals for the colours, considering that once a shortlist is agreed on paper, the final decision should be taken after the colours have been tested on the walls with sufficient time for all lessees to come, see it and vote on it.
Best regards
Diego
Management's comments are as follows:
Your preferred contractor, A&R Lawrence, was not asked nor indeed have, quoted for any electrics.
No electrics were included in the Surveyor's specifications of which you were
