Brassware - communal and Leaseholders Front Doors
Awaiting permissions and confirmations that this is feasible. *
Specifications & Recommendations For New Brassware to Communal Areas & All 9 Flat Front Doors
All Brassware throughout the whole building will be cleaned and renovated back to its superb finish - this includes floor plates (on the the Hall inside doors, and beneath all landing double doors), the lovely dual door handles and the kick plates (which re- grettably do seem to be a slightly more coppery look than brass in some places - but still look sensational when properly cleaned.
All Leaseholders Front Doors will (if permission is granted) have new Brass door furniture installed (letterbox, door knob and possibly a Door Knocker) - we are also investigating the possibility of stripping down each front door and re-varnishing so all look perfect - and will be asking if Leaseholders would like their 3 little Chicken Wire windows tidied up/blocked up as opposed to using cardboard in some case! *
The Lift doors (inside and out) have brass handles which clean beautifully. As stated, the Handrail will be (hopefully) brassed as opposed to Chrome. The Crittall Window handles will be either Brass or close to Brass.
The Front Door will have new Brass Furniture and Bell Push faceplate.*
Would finally suggest a new same look mat outside each Leaseholderʼs front door. *
Landing Double Divider Doors & Windows -
Once cleaned the metal frames are a beautiful copper/broze colour and will look quite magnificent once all finished - and the window panes themselves also clean up very well getting rid of years of congested dirt.
Leasholders Front Doors, door furniture & mats
