We have all invested enough time on this refurbishment and there is no reason for you to decide to change the choice made by the majority on the lighting .
The lighting is not going to be the 1st thing change during the refurbishment so please make sure you do not purchase anything without the approval of the majority. We do not want your cheap lighting .Please stick to what has been agreed. Otherwise you will be liable for the cost. I am again speaking on behalf of the majority . If anyone disagreed you will know.
Remember a fundamental fact is that you have one flat and so do we . Mitre house does not belong to you .Even if you store your personnel belonging in the basement .
I have offered to help in with the refurbishment but you decline my offer’s. As part of management you have a duty to listen to the lessees.
Furthermore if the contractor is not capable to put colour ‘s sample on the wall for consultation when we are spending more than £ 100.000 I think as management you should not tolerate it . You are supposed to be on our side .
So in brief no lighting and no painting until the lessees are satisfied .

Thank you for your comments and nice to see someone working late.
Reference my flat and works. The request for details was so impertinent with obvious mischievous undertones that I could not resist responding with my own mischief.
I am doing the works in my flat myself for now the 5th time since I've owned it.
As regards the lighting, we will return the very large plastic BURLAP units and replace with the very small American Diner units so having 6 of the same lights.
As regards colours, your choice of white (ceilings and dado rail), plus Dulux Taupe 1 (above dado) and Taupe 3 (below dado) are standard colours and need no testing - they will all reproduce as expected.
