I can confirm that A&R Lawrence do not wish to become involved in choosing colours for obvious reasons. Time is short and it is not in their interest to become involved in Lessee discussions.
We are hoping to have a cost for the third colour this morning at which time all lessees will be advised.
As regards the electrics, the contractor is our usual retained electrician for PIR testing, works and maintenance at Mitre House. The cost for the immediate emergency works will not be known until the works are completed as problems are still being experienced in places.
There is no need, as you inferred, for a Section 20 notice, which takes 3-4 months to progress. Unless of course you still request one in which case we might as well return all lighting units as they won't be needed until next year if indeed ALL lessees agree to the works in the Section 20 notice. Do please advise asap.
I really must request you allow Management to get on and manage these works on schedule on budget, both of which you have very full and comprehensive details of.
Again, you seem intent on copying all lessees, necessitating me to also reply to all. Boring.

Paul,
I'm very surprised the contractors doing the refurbishment for the communal parts will also do your flat at the same time. If they have to work within certain hours by the Lease, how can they work "after hours and at week-ends"? Isn't that against the Lease? Would they be distracted by your own works while doing the main works?
I hope the process for selecting them and the quotes have been fairly obtained and they are going to be paid separately by you for your works. Any comment on this front is appreciated.
You did not provide a response to my previous request on who's doing the electrical and how much is the cost.
With regard to the lamps clearly you have taken your own interpretation of the suggestion we made. Our suggestion was to have solid brass lanterns in the hallway, but then only one of the two alternative options (we suggested 3 ideas and we said among those we prefer 2 out of the 3) for the landings. Clearly nobody meant to have different lamps so close in each landing. We should select one of the 2 and have all the same across the landings. If you think the stylish flat options is too big for the space we have. - as you have seen it live - on the same website there are 2 smaller sizes of the same lamp that perhaps fit better. Irrespective, we should have 2 of the same lamp in each landing not different models (6 identical lamps in total).
Finally with regard to the colour scheme, we suggested some tones, however as per my e-mail
we recommend testing those on the walls before making a final decision. We also suggested to
