decor considering it “vulgar, cheap and unsuitable” and the works performed by MHML/Paul Brown-Constable was “shoddy” and unprofessional.

“HOW DID YOU THINK MHML WERE FUNDING THE NEW LIGHTING?”
The raison d’etre for this observation was because MHML had managerially disregarded the various muddled, conflicting, and totally unsuitable suggestions, observations and preferences having no basis of “majority” nor “consistency” from Mrs Hillgarth and her allies and proceeded in refurbishing the interior communal areas [almost] on budget, on [almost] schedule to include all the wishes and items considered initially “unaffordable” with only a small £858 overspend on the £105,000 approved budget but leaving £16,201 in Reserves as opposed to the predicted £11,243 following the £2000 contributions from all nine lessees.
Various unwelcome and irrelevant requests and innumerable petty accusations were made by Mrs Hillgarth and her allies during the works for financial information over and above that to which they were entitled but that relevant to their requests was advised that all was available on our website www.mitrehouse.com if indeed not previously sent to them, which it all had been.
Nevertheless, all lessees including most especially Mrs Hillgarth and her allies, were advised in replies by return to enquiries/requests to await publication of the YE2014 Accounts and peruse and inspect all documentation as was their right.
Somewhat contrarily, not one lessee requested to view the YE2014 documentation (despite Mrs Hillgarth’s accusation that MHML had ignored, nay refused, requests from her and other lessees to view Accounts information which was subsequently admitted by her to be untrue in her own Witness Statement (para 73) dated 10 August 2016 some eighteen months later)
This same accusation along with a diatribe of many others was subsequently advised to MHML in a letter dated 23 March 2016 from her Solicitor (the third Solicitor that MHML have had to endure from Mrs Hillgarth since 2011 including extraordinarily her poaching of our Solicitors and demanding they stop representing MHML due to a conflict of interest?)
This 23 March 2016 (three years ago) resulted in a First Tier Tribunal hearing in June 2017 to have MHML replaced by a “manager” as in the opinion of the Tribunal “ relations between the Applicants (Mrs Hillgarth) and the Landlord (MHML) had irretrievably broken down”.
This was indisputable and despite various previously denied and proved as untrue accusations levelled at Paul Brown-Constable (MHML) of Blackmail, Fraud, Intimidation, Misappropriation of leaseholders’ monies and god knows what else, MHML (Paul Brown-Constable) offered no defence as to have done so would have added credibility to the absurd allegations, and agreed the Tribunal’s observation which made no comment whatsoever to the extremely serious but totally untrue accusations.
Mrs Hillgarth, was though, asked two questions on oath which she denied namely:
a) “Did you source quotes from Wade in 2012 and 2013?” - No, she said, there were many quotes mumble mumble mumble!!!!
b) “Did you agree by saying “well then everybody will be happy” at the 23 May 2014 Board Meeting?” No, she said...!
Subsequent to the First Tier Tribunal’s appointment of a Manager/Managing Agents, currently Maunder Taylor, annual outgoings per lessee at Mitre House have risen from £3000pa in 2017 to £10,000pa in 2019 - that’s an increase of 333% in twelve months.
If ever proof were needed of Mrs Hillgarth’s cavalier attitude to basic economy this has to be it.
Mrs Hillgarth via her Solicitor is still to date harassing MHML and Paul Brown-Constable for various allegedly unproved accusations including misleading and fraudulent accounts and more recently Mr Brown-Constable stealing £29,000 from leaseholders?
