 Brief General Works Specifications_1                                                                              Specifications & Recommendations For Street Front Door and Hallway Furniture Entrance Front Door - interior and exterior wood surfaces Entrance Hallway - ground floor Strip back to original existing Light Oak and varnish/laquer/protect. Remove (and replace) Residents Association Notice Board to alternative position and replace with large suitable Mirror (frame & size to still be determined). * Door furniture to be removed and replaced with new where required. Affix new (brass hopefully) mail basket to interior right door. Add a small period table (type and style still to be determined). * Please Note: All attempts will be made to tidy up any damage to door woodwork but not all markings can be removed nor 100% eradicated - the door is 90 years old and as such will retain its veteran status in places. Add 9 Wooden Mail Pigeon slots for Flats 1-9 Mail - (type and style of wood still to be determined). * External Front door steps and surrounds will be cleaned thoroughly. Add decorative items as required - potted plants, pictures etc to be determined. * A new Brass fitment to underside of first step will be fitted. A new Brass Bell display to replace existing unit. The magnificent MITRE HOUSE signage above Front Door will be looked at to see if it can be jazzed up a bit - no, not neon regretfully! Hopefully a Brass colour look. A new Coir 23mm industrial strength mat will replace the existing filthy excuse.
