MESSAGE from Steve Lains, Chief Executive O cer
The culmination of 2017 brings much re ection and
gratitude as we look back on a great year. We launched
“My BAGI,” the Association’s new membership app, in
hopes of streamlining the focus of our communications
to meet your individual needs and interests. Permit
numbers remained steady with a 5% increase from last
year. Government Affairs launched a marketing effort this
year and developed “Building Together,” a piece aimed to
help educate local decision-makers. Indy Rama and Home-A-Rama promoted our members and the industry to drive consumer interest in new construction. NAHB awarded BAGI with several grants to assist with our workforce development initiatives – stay tuned in early 2018 for more information regarding this.
With the transition to the app for much of your content needs, we are excited to announce we will be returning to a print publication. Starting in January 2018, Haven Magazine is becoming The Of cial
Publication of the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis, and you will no longer receive SITES. We believe this brings you added value as a reader, and also provides a new opportunity for BAGI to get in front of a consumer base as we continue to nd new ways to promote our industry. Look for Haven in your mailboxes mid-January.
