in our communities can become a devastating problem for homeowners, limiting their choices if not immediately addressed. Nationaldatashowsthat nearly 25% of the nal price of a new home is the result of government regulation. The end result is that important members of our community – police, remen, teachers, members of the military and even our own adult children – are priced out of home ownershipinthecitiesandtownswhere they work and live.
As an association, we constantly strive to be an advocate for our members and we feel this important step needed to be taken to help prevent our builders from hitting these roadblocks which are affecting their
bottomline. Buildershavebeendealing with increased government regulations for many years and our hope is that by ling this lawsuit, it will bring awareness to this problemandfundamentalitychangetheway governments proceed when adopting new standards and regulations.
