HWC is a full service consulting engineering rm providing water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation and site engineering, as well as landscape architecture and planning, for both the public and private sectors. HWC was founded in 1989, in Terre Haute, Indiana, and has additional Indiana of ces in Indianapolis, Lafayette, Scottsburg and Muncie, providing professional services to clients throughout the state and Midwest. Recognized as one of the fastest growing engineering rms in Indiana in recent years, we continue to recruit some of the very best professionals in the business. This quality growth is part of our plan to provide the best possible service to our clients. It is an extension of our heritage, growing out of 85 years in the construction business and 22 years in the business
of professional engineering.
Some of our professional accomplishments include being a repeat recipient of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Top 100 Growth Award, being recognized among the
“Top 50” Midwest design rms by Midwest Construction magazine, receiving multiple project awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Indiana (ACEC Indiana), and being recognized as a national project nalist by ACEC.
In August 2011, HWC acquired Floyd
E. Burroughs & Associates (FEBA)
and added multiple engineers to our transportation design staff and expanded our capabilities to include small structure and bridge design.
