Connie surprised Mike for his 60th birthday a few years ago by renting a bus and a bunch of us going to the river boat to gamble. We had a blast (as you can imagine!) On the way home the bus caught on fire!! Of course in true fashion we saved the beer and snacks and set on the side of the highway for a couple hours waiting on the new bus to come get us and made our own little road side party! Mike son, Jason, flagged someone down and got in the car with them and left to go get pizza’s. Although we weren’t sure that was a good idea or if we’d ever see Jason again, he sure enough showed back up with a bunch of pizza’s and the party continued! What a great day in true Mike fashion!!! :) I love that guy!

Over the last ten years I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mike in Habitat for Humanity. When my wife and I decided to build a home a year ago there was no question as to who we wanted as our builder. Mike’s dedication to serving the less fortunate through his ef- forts in Habitat is just one indicator of his outstanding Christian character. His integrity, commitment to quality, and willingness to go the extra mile are character traits that are also very evident. These are the reasons we asked Mike to build our house.
Thanks Mike for our beautiful home.
