We own and maintain historic
roses from the “Lowery-Robinson” collection, currently located in Sebastopol. Rosarians world-wide consider the collection to be one of the most comprehensive multiple- class collections of old roses ever assembled. Roses in the collection have been the source of propagation material provided to numerous public rose gardens. Membership helps in the conservation of this precious resource. May 18: Rosalia—A Rose Festival a gathering of rose lovers, a discovery about roses, their history and how to grow them, a sale of
rare roses and companion plants, an adornment with roses at Wischemann Hall, 465 Morris St., Sebastopol from 11 am until 3 pm.

We are a grassroots community seed bank that supports Sonoma County gardeners with free, open-pollinated, locally grown, pesticide- and GMO- free seeds. All gardeners with or without seeds to share are welcome to come check out our over 200 varieties of seed! We gather the last Saturday of the month (except Nov & Dec) to work in the seed garden, share seed and learn about seed saving. Free monthly classes. Our seed library has over 200 varieties of locally grown seed available free to gardeners.

We are a chapter of the American Rose Society in Santa Rosa. We meet on the 3rd Thursday the following months; February, March, April, September, and October at 7:00
pm. May and July at 5:30 pm in
the Garden. June and November Potluck at 6 pm. We hold a Pruning Demonstration in January on the
2nd Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm. Meeting are held at the Luther Burbank Art
& Garden Center (LBAGC) at 2050 Yulupa Ave, Santa Rosa CA 95405. The rose garden is maintained by the rose society.

Educators, practitioners, medicine makers, growers, and students whose mission is to foster respect for the green world and our community through the responsible use and sustainable cultivation of herbs. SCHA hosts the Sonoma County Herb Exchange, a clearinghouse of top quality, locally grown medicinal herbs. All herbs are grown according to organic protocol. We hold educational events monthly (3rd Wednesday of the Month Speaker Series) and host plant sales and other plant-based gatherings.
