Sweet Louise
Now you can fly with your butterflies, free on a
breeze! THANK YOU for all you have given us over your splendid 100 years!! We’ll miss you at the farm in June, but you will be with us in spirit...fluttering from flower to flower. I wonder which butterfly you will be!
Did you know?
• Bottled water can come from thousands of miles away. Your tap water starts at the Russian River. (Sonoma County Water Agency)
• Americans buy more bottled water than any other nation in the world. We consume approximately half a billion bottles of water each week. That many water bottles could circle the globe about 5 times. (The Story of Bottled Water. PDF)
• For every six water bottles consumed, about one make it into the recycling bin. (National Geographic Kids)
• Plastic water bottles are not biodegradable. Every piece of plastic ever created still exists on our planet in some shape or form. (Surfrider Foundation)
• If you like having extra spending money, drink tap water! It costs each person less than $3.00 for a whole year’s supply of drinking water. On average, bottled water costs about 2,000 times more than tap water. Can you imagine paying 2,000 times the price of anything else? How about a $10,000 burger? (The Story of Bottled Water.PDF)
Tap water is good for you, good for the environment!
Reduce waste ~ Save money ~ Drink local ~ Be healthy!
