Dear Readers,
I just got my little red sports car back after being hit when a young man came through a turn too fast in the rain, lost control of his car and hit my Queen...1983 Toyota Supra. We both walked away fine, but our cars...not so.
Let me tell you about my car...
A picture is worth a thousand words, so here you will see the people who brought my Queen back from near extinction. When I brought The Queen into Western Auto Body, I told Mike Landeman
that he needed to “love my metal” because I
was not willing to let her go. He warned me
that the insurance company would probably
“total” her and I’d have to decide if I wanted to
take what they gave me and use my own funds
to fixer her...or let her go. Miracles do happen
because the young man’s insurance company is
Geico, and Chris the appraiser, saw her value.
They said - yes, she’s worth fixing.
Johnny and Tony (father-son) at Western led a team of skilled and dedicated auto body artists through a loving restoration
that is truly a work of art. I
am amazed. And beyond grateful. So I want to THANK every person who “loved my metal” back to life. I am
beyond happy.
Enjoy!
