Does Redwood Limbing Increase
Fire RIsk?
give up wearing earrings? How about wedding rings? That intimate piercing? Will we start hearing cellphone calls through our teeth and responding, “Sorry, wrong molar?”
The U.S. military is the largest producer of greenhouse gases in the world, ranking above 2/3 of the world’s countries. When will everyone see that unless we leave fossil fuels in the ground and stop bombing people to keep our prices low, the rest of this is just a show?
Back in Action
I was interested to read your article “Mixed Reviews” in the August edition of the Gazette, because I’ve become increasingly concerned about the redwood limbing PG&E has been doing recently along their power lines.
More and more people are concerned about the race to erect as many 4G cell towers as possible, so antenna manufacturers are coming up with some ingenious ways of camouflaging their antennas so we won’t notice them. We’re probably all familiar with the ubiquitous pine or ecalyptus look, but regionally appropriate giant cactus is now
in the mix for the southwest, and, are you ready for this? Manhole covers that are actually antennas...
It won’t stop there. Last September, Jessica Rosenworcel, a commissioner for the Federal Communications Commission, gave the statement below about what she thought 6G would entail. Let’s hope this future doesn’t come to pass.

I’m concerned that loss of redwood canopy will not only causing environmental damage to the watershed, but that it might actually increase wildfire risk.
Dear Vesta, my name is Jeffrey Ramsey. You have sent me multiple copies of the Gazette over the past two yrs. I am out of prison and doing great ! I’ve really been anticipating the time when I could express my gratitude to you for the kindness
you shared!! I have bragged to many people about what you did for me!
It particularly troubles me that the damage which is happening now will take a lifetime to repair.
I’ve put together a paper which I hope explains most of the issues as I understand them.
I want to thank you from my whole heart !! Those copies helped my wellbeing in a tremendous way. If you would like, visit my Facebook page@ Jeffrey Ramsey, Glen Ellen, you will see some of my art, including a tribute to the round barn!
I sent both drafts of the paper to Dan Kida, the head of vegetation management for PG&E in Sonoma County. He says he’s circulated both versions of the document within the company and told me “I’m hoping
“The sixth generation of wireless service will feature terahertz frequency networks and spatial multiplexing. To do this we will need an unprecedented level of network densification, so imagine base stations miniaturized and embedded all around us. This will make it possible to have hundreds and even thousands of simultaneous wireless connections with as much as 1000 times higher capacity than what we expect with 5G service. Finally, while 5G applications are expected to evolve around a single-beam approach to data transfer, 6G could be designed around hundreds of simultaneous beams, yielding much higher data rates.”
Well, hopefully one of these days i will have the chance to meet you. I hope life is treating you well.
to at least have an initial response to your questions and requests next week.”
Sincerely, jeffrey.
I feel that we need to get a pause on the redwood limbing as quickly as possible, while allowing the rest of the EVM to proceed.

My name is Eileen Feickert Scott. I grew up on Meyers Grade Road. My father was in the logging business.
I remember a saw mill located next to our 9 acre home. The spring that supplied water to our house was originally a stage coach stop. The spring is still active today.
The paper is far too big for publication in the Gazette, but if you thought it was of interest then I could rework it into multiple articles.

This area was a wonderful place
to grow up. Everyone new their neighbors and helped one another.
I have many fond memories of the gatherings at the swimming hole with neighbors. We were a very large family. When my Dad passed away they all came and finished his new shop he was building but had not finished. The men worked on the shop and the women provided food. You seldom find people like this now. Most have since passed and I dearly miss all of them. I was shocked when Stan and Bev’s beautiful old home was demolished. We all hoped it would become a historical site.
I’m intereted and I would inagiine many readers would be interested as well...in not only your persepctove but also PG&E’s response. With the Amazon on fire we have to think of every aspect
of what our forests do for us as well as how we live among them. Complex issues require complex procedures. ~ Vesta
I was reading a blurb about the new 5G cellphones coming out, how ingenious it is that they use a number of tiny antennas in their phones to catch the 1 to 10 mm long cell signals being broadcasted. These same small 5G wavelengths correspond in length to a lot of everyday adornments
lots of us like to wear, or have implanted. What if we have metal dental implants or fillings? Do people

Climate Change
I went to Mike Thompson’s climate change town hall today. He talked about lands he’s helped preserve and vineyards carbon farming. When someone asked about animal farming he had no idea what they were talking about. And he has continued to support more and more oil
