Move over Advent Calendar with your stale chocolate!
Instead of (or in addition to) jacking your kids up on sugar to celebrate the magic of Christmas, how about reading to them instead?
With December fast approaching, I’d like to introduce you to a new tradition I recently heard about and will be doing this year with my five-year-old avid reader.
All you need to do is collect and wrap 25 books individually prior to December 1st and let your child open one each evening between the 1st and 25th, so you can read it together.
If you don’t celebrate Christmas, no problem!
