Dear Readers,
I just got another call from a loyal reader wanting to know when the
Gazette is coming out. Today is March 2nd. She shops at Big John’s Market in Healdsburg and she got worried that we are not delivering like we always do!
YES, the paper gets printed on a Tuesday and gets delivered on Wednesday and Thursday. Each delivery person has a route that requires two days to cover, so you might not see it until Thursday. And we usually have it online the day the print edition comes out. Sometimes sooner.
If you want to know the EXACT DATE of the next issue - just look on page 4 of each edition. I always put the dates on the far left column so people will know our deadlines. THANK YOU for caring so much!
There is a lot to cover each month and we appreciate everyone who uses
the Gazette as your messenger. The reason our magazine is so important in Sonoma County is because we are the media that delivers YOUR message. We used to use the words Written by Readers as our tag line, but BUILDING COMMUNITY is our ultimate goal so we moved that to be our slogan.
Our goal is to bring people TOGETHER for the common goal we share of participating in our community - our home.
This month our mission includes offering resources for gardeners to shop and use the services of locally-owned garden businesses. We strive to include everyone but we don’t know them all. If you find a business missing in our guide, please let us know so we can update our website.
The Gardeners Resource Guide is online all year under LOCAL GUIDES and inserted into the March edition. Happy gardening!
