Construction Industries Alliance
The Construction Industries Alliance (CIA) celebrates 49 successful years of support for City of Hope, a globally recognized research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. The Construction Industries Alliance began with a group of 10 dedicated individuals and has grown to include representatives from all areas of the construction and service industries.
To date, the group has raised nearly $77 million for City of Hope. These funds are of immeasurable importance for City of Hope in its ongoing effort to develop new treatments, therapies and cures that touch the lives of millions around the world. Each year, the Construction Industries Alliance honors one of their peers with the Spirit of Life® Award, City of Hope’s highest humanitarian accolade.
This year, CIA is honoring Mike Forsum, President, and COO, Landsea Homes. He is being recognized for his outstanding leadership in the construction industry and for his exemplary commitment to philanthropy. By accepting this prestigious honor, Mr. Forsum joins a long and distinguished group of past recipients—individuals recognized for their remarkable careers, industry leadership as well as their dedication and commitment to helping others.
