Allisa Miller was diagnosed at 29 with ovarian cancer, after undergoing abdominal surgery to remove what was thought to be a benign tumor from her ovary. At the recommendation of a family friend, She came to City of Hope for a second opinion. Robert Morgan, M.D., confirmed the diagnosis and began her on an aggressive chemo treatment plan. A little more than one year later, she was declared cancer free. One year after that, she would be giving birth to her second daughter, Charlotte Hope, thanks to City of Hope’s care and treatment.
