We hope this finds each of you, your families and colleagues continuing to be healthy and well. We have faced a global pandemic, economic instability and social unrest, impacting the lives of everyone we know.
Through this adversity, City of Hope has continued advancing innovative research and treatment to provide the best care for those with cancer, diabetes and other-life threatening illnesses – including COVID-19. We know the urgency of our patients does not stop during this pandemic and neither does City of Hope.
These challenging times has only been met with this industry’s unwavering resolve to support City of Hope’s ongoing mission to find the cures. In nearly four decades, you have helped raise more than $220 million for City of Hope, fortifying this industry’s reputation as the most prolific fundraising corporate group at City of Hope, but also one deeply rooted in its generous commitment to our life-saving mission.
Our sincere thanks to the extraordinary leadership and resilience of Stephanie Dismore and her team at HP for spearheading the NBPI’s 2020 REINVENT HOPE campaign, raising $12.5 million for City of Hope despite the unprecedented challenges that came with the coronavirus pandemic. We are so grateful.
The 2021 SUSTAIN HOPE campaign led by Spirit of Life® honoree Greg Gibson and his team at International Paper aims to continue fulfilling a promise for a better future for hundreds of millions around the world by funding critical cancer and diabetes research at City of Hope.
Your continued generosity is the catalyst to our institution’s pursuit in delivering HOPE. We are ever so grateful to this industry’s continued support during these times and eagerly look forward to the day when we can see each other safely and in-person again.
