City of Hope National Business Products Industry Fundraising Team
For 42 years, leading executives and companies from the National Business Products Industry (Office, Technology, Industrial/JanSan, Breakroom/Food Service, Furniture, Packaging, Health and Safety) have engaged in an annual fundraising effort in support of City of Hope. To date, these collective efforts from peers, partners and competitors alike have raised $270 million for City of Hope, expediting our efforts to develop new therapies and cures for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases – thank you!
As you know, our annual fundraising efforts were led this year by our 2024 Honoree Harry Dochelli and the amazing Essendant team! Over the course of the year, Essendant specific support programs and activities raised well over $1M for City of Hope!
Once again, the annual industrywide fundraising campaign concludes tonight at the Spirit of Life® Gala where the National Business Products Industry honors Harry for his remarkable professional career and humanitarian efforts. We extend our sincere thanks, appreciation and congratulations to Harry and the entire Essendant team on your very well deserved award.
Lastly, we save our largest thanks to every one of you and your companies that provided lifesaving support again this year. Your critical partnership with City of Hope impacts everything we do – research, new therapy development, infrastructure, talent and patient care.
It is the reason why 100 million patients now benefit from City of Hope breakthroughs each and every day. It is also the reason why City of Hope has expanded to 5 locations – Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, Atlanta and Chicago.
Looking ahead, plans are also well underway with 2025 Honoree John Fellowes, CEO from Fellowes Brands. John, congratulations to you and Fellowes Brands on your very well-deserved recognition. This marks the 3rd generation of Fellowes Spirit of Life Honorees who collectively have supported City of Hope for over 40 years! We look forward to expanding our City of Hope family of supporters for years to come, united in our collective goal to make cancer and diabetes a thing of the past.
