Firestone Country Club – Akron, Ohio
GOJO hosted their tenth golf outing again this year at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Situated on the outskirts of Akron, Firestone Country Club has the finest 54 holes of golf of any private club in the country. The South Course, designed by Bert Way and redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1960, is best known for its legendary history of tournament play and is the home of the World Golf Championships – Bridgestone Invitational. Many of GOJO’s vendors and suppliers gathered for a great day of golf at this esteemed course. After golf guests had dinner followed by a great program and raffle. Guests also heard from honored guest speaker Jeff Carpenter about his experience at City of Hope.
