I wanted to make sure my car wasn’t damaged, so I walked around to inspect it.
Luckily, I wasn’t seriously hurt.
Tree limbs were down and the road was filled with leaves and sticks.
As I passed by the fence, I touched it – and it shocked me.
I didn’t see the fallen power line touching the fence.
I know the feeling, Aya. I’m so thankful it was not fatal and you are able to share your story today.
When you see power lines on the ground following a storm, stay away, and warn others to stay
