Wonderful, always prepare for the task at hand! How else did you prepare?
I could feel Hot Spot watching as I prepared the chemicals.
He was waiting for me to
get distracted, rushed or careless. But I stayed
focused on the task and took my time.
He eventually got bored and moved on. I was safe from a chemical burn thanks to the tips I learned from the Line of Fire League. It was as if you were with me all along.
I wore all the required personal protective equipment, including
goggles, gloves & closed-toe shoes.
Great. The more you focus on one thing at a time, the harder it is for Hot Spot to cause an event.
We’re so happy you feel that way, Dawn. Moving forward, we hope everyone will apply the techniques you’ve learned here and mitigate any future Line of Fire hazards you encounter.
I’ve learned there are many opportunities for Hot Spot to strike in the lab, so before I started working, I read all the labels and safety data sheets for the chemicals I would be using.
Stay tuned...
