Acustomer called in extremely touched and moved to tears by the actions
of our overnight team at the beginning of March. She is a parent first, and she unfortunately observed an incident unfolding. Saturday night into Sunday morning, she said David and Demetria saved the lives of three children due to their quick response and alertness. They both noticed three children outside
in the rain with an adult male, so they brought them into the store. Suspicions quickly arose regarding what exactly the man’s intentions or motives were at this time of night, so they called the police. As it turns out, there was a domestic abuse situation that had occurred, and the customer very firmly believed that David
and Demetria saved the lives of these children by stepping in. Not only were they concerned Associates, but they were concerned parents, as well. The customer appreciated their ability to care and act quickly so much that she cried while sharing this story. David and Demetria deserve all the glory and praise for their heroic act and we are so glad to have them as part of our Wawa Family.
