The excited faces of the youngest singers, the intensity and focus
of the teenagers, and the rich sound of the adults—this is
the Susquehanna Chorale’s legacy, beautifully portrayed in the Youth Choral Festival. The Chorale has always been deeply committed to providing the finest in choral music opportunities for young people, from elementary age through early college. After
a year-long hiatus, the Youth Chorale, Young Women’s Chorale, and Children’s Chorale will once again present a festival of joyous song, filled with spirit, energy, and hope. This year’s concert will also feature a preview of Dan Forrest’s new work commissioned for the Susquehanna Chorale’s 40th Anniversary, Let the Stable Still Astonish.
You will be amazed at the polished artistry and skill demonstrated by these talented young students. Experience the power of music
to connect the generations as all groups, including the adult Chorale, combine for the beloved finale, Mack Wilberg’s Anthem of Peace. What better way to introduce our 40th anniversary season than with a concert filled with the voices of the future!
