Lynx is essentially the lilac version of agouti. Samerules, but lilac instead.
Compare these two baby Lynx photos. The older babycarries considerably more rufus factor and will have more vibrant and prominent ring definition.

It is hard sometimes to tell that a self colored Angorahas the steel gene until the ticking develops. However, for agouti with steel gene, it'seasy to identify, especially Chestnut.
Chestnuts should have white or very light tan tummy.Steel gene turns the light tummy into a dark tummy, similar color as the back and the restof the body.
Fawn and cream cannot have steel as they are ee .No need to look at their tummies.
