CHRIS BOYLE'S LEGAL UPDATE:
GENTLES V. BOROUGH OF POTTSTOWN, 2025 U.S. APP. LEXIS 18392
Chris Boyle's Legal Update
FALL 2025 BULLETIN
By: Chris Boyle, Esq., Chris Boyle Law Enforcement Consulting, LLC
COMMENT: So, let’s say the call comes out
of a devilishly handsome, white male, six feet
tall, weighing in at a svelte 215, and wearing
blue jean shorts, white sneakers and a “wife
beater” and you happen upon me, in all my
glory, standing on the corner right where the
caller said I would be. “What do I have now?”
You, sir or madam, have jack $h!+. Your 9-11
caller is unidentified, and has not predicted
future, criminal activity. Let’s stop grippin’
people up for matching a clothing descrip-
tion, and start observing for some criminal
behavior. Nice little civil case out of the Third
Circuit on anonymous tips. Be well and stay
safe everyone! CB
