Cumberland County Commission
for Women
The Cumberland County Commission for Women
(CCCW) was established by the Cumberland County
Board of Commissioners on December 13, 1999,
and formally launched in 2001. With a 25-member
volunteer board the Commission advances
opportunities for women and girls throughout
Cumberland County. Driven by a mission to increase
awareness of women’s issues, the CCCW works
on professional development, educational growth,
networking, governmental support, and promoting
women’s participation in civics.
