Because Japanese syllables are very simple, Japanese Braille is very simple, too. Braille generally consists of 2x3 dots:
Three upper left dots are for vowels: aiueo
Three lower right dots are for consonants: kstnhmrカ
V oiced syllables (e.g., り), る-line syllables, and palatalized syllables (e.g., で) require another dot to the left: voiced る-line palatalized
By combining these (and with a few more conventions) you can express Japanese pretty well. What do you think is the following?
