) Go outside the classroom, and ask one of your classmates where the bathroom is. Thank him/her.
) Ask another classmate where the elevators are.
) Get in the elevator and ask someone to press the button for the second floor. Get out
on the second floor and ask where some room is. Walk over there and comment on it,
if such a room exists. Otherwise, point out that it is a wrong floor.
) Go back to the elevator. Ask if your partner would use the elevator or the stairs (づぞ
ぺカ).
) Ask which way is H Street. If your partner does not know for sure, ask another person. ) Walk toward H Street. Ask where the teacher is. Ask what building the one in front of
you is.
) Ask where Marvin Center is.
) As you walk to Marvin Center, talk with your partner about his/her background. Also,
talk about your classmates or your teacher.
) Ask where the entrance to Marvin Center is.
) Ask where the computer store is.
) Ask where the bathroom is.
) Ask where the pay phone is.
) Go inside the bookstore. Ask where Japanese books are, where pens are, etc.
Comment on the objects.
) Locate your teacher. If you cannot find the teacher, ask around. Upon locating
him/her, say ぜぜ\先生\ねねめぱべづ and ask him/her if (s)he has seen one of
your classmates.
) Talk about the cafeteria with your partner.
) Ask where one of your classmates is.
) Ask where the exit is.
) Go outside through a different exit from the one you came from and ask where good
restaurants are. Discuss the prices. Discuss what is good to eat, etc.
) Go to I Street and ask where the subway station is.
) Ask which way Rome Hall is and walk back.
) Your teacher will approach you and ask the way. If not, approach the teacher and ask
a question. Return to the classroom. Keep talking.
