FIRM OVERVIEW
Introduction
Hunsaker & Associates Irvine, Inc. (H&A) offers capabilities from project initiation through planning and permitting, surveying and mapping, engineering, and construction staking and support. We provide these services to both public and private sector clients, including: local cities and county agencies, water districts, state and federal agencies; land developers, contractors, builders and facility owners. H&A also teams with other consulting engineers, landscape architects, building architects to augment our in-house staff. The goal is for H&A to provide clients with the full range of services they need for a specific assignment to be successful (on-time, under budget, good quality and satisfied client and stakeholders).
H&A was founded in 1976 and has been headquartered in Irvine since 1985. We have expanded geographically to include offices in the Inland Empire (Riverside), Los Angeles (Valencia) and San Diego. Our staff of over 300 includes office technical staff, survey field crews with office support and Regulatory personnel led by managers with exemplary qualifications in their areas of expertise. We also have one of the largest survey groups in Southern California with 25 fully equipped field crews each led by a certified party chief. This depth of resources enables H&A to meet our client’s needs with expedited action to meet (or beat) project schedules.
Our strength lies in the company’s staff having wide ranging qualifications and versatility. Our personnel have up to 50 years of individual experience and include multiple experts in each of the services we provide. Often they have continued their education by participating in seminars, graduate courses and other strategies to remain current in their field and bring this new knowledge to their daily work process. These experts also use the lessons learned from decades of performance to make timely and accurate technical decisions, offer direction and leadership to project teams and mentor younger staff. H&A is committed to incorporating innovative ideas, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to provide timely and cost effective solutions to each project challenge.
