Birds-Eye-View Shot / Overhead Shot
A high-angle shot that’s taken from directly overhead. The shot gives the audience a wider view and is useful for showing the direction that the subject is moving or reveal to the audience elements outside the boundaries of the character’s awareness.
Aerial Shot / Helicopter Shot
Taken from a helicopter or drone. It establishes a large expanse of scenery with or without the character.
