CONTINUALLY IMPROVING CARE FOR PATIENTS, FAMILIES AND WHĀNAU
The new purpose-built hospice has made a huge difference to our ability to provide the very best palliative care and support to patients, their families and whānau. We are continually investigating ways to improve this care through our services, practices and equipment.
Annually we need to raise nearly $3 million just to keep our services free of charge. This means we have limited resources to replace out of date medical items or recruit individuals who can provide additional support to patients.
We have a list of items urgently needed to replace or update and roles that would allow for expanded support to patients and their families. We actively seek support for these through grants and donations.
