Registration
If you are interested in using family dispute resolution services you’ll need to register with us.
Register by phone
Call us on 0800 737 6583 and we’ll make a time to complete the registration over the phone. This service is available 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and takes approximately 20 minutes.
Register online
If you wish to complete the registration form in your own time before talking with us you can do this online by visiting www.resolutionservices.org.nz.
The process
1 Register by calling 0800 RESOLVE
6 Agreement reached
If you want your agreement to be enforceable by law you will still need to make an application
to the Family Court (fees apply).
If you are unable to reach an agreement during mediation you will need to apply to the Family Court for a judge’s decision; your mediator will give you a form that shows you attended mediation, and the results of your mediation.
