 Making a difference together
     Our Tindall Foundation partnership
Presbyterian Support NZ is the Faith Fund Manager for The Tindall Foundation. In 2018, PSNZ allocated $194,418 to 13 worthwhile projects and initiatives.
Highlights:
• In Southland, funding has supported Family Works and Southland youth to develop “Get ready, Transitioning to Independence”. This practical workbook supports young people, in particular those who are leaving home or care, to access the support they need and make healthy choices. It covers topics such as work and education, relationships, life skills, housing and money management.
• In Tauranga funding has supported St Peter’s House to run a debt management service that supports clients to become debt free and stay
that way. One client said “[The service] helped manage my finances and repayments and I finally felt like I could overcome my debt and I was feeling confident. Watching my debt balance come down was a reward in itself.
Regionally responsive. Nationally supported.
Presbyterian Support New Zealand and Family Works New Zealand are governed by a council of representatives from the seven regional Presbyterian Support organisations. This dual national and local governance best ensures we are regionally responsive and nationally supported. Best of all, by sharing resources and ideas nationally we make sure the majority of resources go directly to our health and social services.
