VALUES:
Our values can be simply summed up with these two words, Relationships and Neat.
We believe if we get these two right we have a recipe for success. All relationships should be treated with utmost respect and trust. It doesn’t matter who. Someone is always watching and taking their clue from you. If you expect a site foreman to hold down a professional relationship with an important project manager, they would have been learning their skills from the relation- ship you held with them when they where a first year.
Maintaining healthy relationships throughout the extent of a project helps position us in the box seat for the next one. I have seen this time and time again. We have been hand picked for pro- jects not because we always get everything right the first time but because we are honest and respectful in all situations.
In regard to relationships with our staff we believe in giving them space to learn, and some- times make mistakes. This space will help them to be solution-based thinkers in the future.
We want to give them enough room to practice using their own brain to navigate the curves of projects as they arise. This is gradual as they are working through their apprenticeship and the goal of producing high quality Tradesmen. We want to promote teamwork in the workplace. This is best shown not told. Our model allows you as the local owner to get down and dirty with the lads. Get your hands dirty and carry a pallet of lighting with them every now and again. Nothing will show them your view on teamwork than this.
