Tēnā koutou, and welcome to the sixth public annual report by Tira Tūhāhā Prison Chaplaincy Aotearoa (TTPCA) – (previously known as Prison Chaplaincy Service of Aotearoa New Zealand).
TTPCA, with the oversight of a cross-section of New Zealand churches, provides religious and spiritual services to all New Zealand prisoners under contract to the Department of Corrections Ara Poutama Aotearoa. TTPCA is also contracted by Serco
New Zealand to provide chaplaincy services to Auckland South Corrections Facility. The New Zealand Catholic Bishops Conference works closely with TTPCA to provide Catholic chaplaincy in all prisons throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand.
