to the paint store that sells the manufacturer’s paint and obtain the specified

Siding
Siding Materials:
• Vertical board and batten with boards between 5” – 16” on center, and battens pf 1” -2”
using one of the following materials:

a) Wood or plywood boards, soffits, overhangs and fascia, with solid wood or PVC
battens and trim, including window trim
b) Aluminum or vinyl board and batten with “J” channel for finished edges, solid “V”
groove (reverse board and batten) for overhangs, solid or ventilated “V” groove
(reverse board and batten) for soffits, and solid aluminum or vinyl materials to wrap
fascia, rakeboards, and other trim, including window trim
c) Cement board siding, such as Hardipanel Cedarmill siding used in conjunction with
Harditrim planks to achieve the vertical board and batten look, with Hardipanel
smooth panel used for fascia, Hardipanel Select Sierra 8 (reverse board and batten)
used for overhangs and wood, PVC, or Hardiplank (when available) used for
rakeboards and other trim, including window trim. Soffits are to utilize Hardisoft
smooth soffit panels, either vented or unvented. Any comparable brand of cement
board siding may be used as long as it conforms to the dimensions and appearance
set forth with the above JamesHardi materials.
d) “V” groove” or reverse board and batten is approved only for overhangs and
soffits. It is no longer an approved alternative for siding, regardless of the material
