Deck Design
Stipulations
• Diagonal support posts or
• Vertical support posts are required when a new or expanded deck exceeds
the original dimensions
• Deck replacements may not have diagonal support posts
• Upper and lower fascia boards to be 2” x 8”. Top rail may be 2” x 4” or 2”
x 6”
• Spiral stairs similar to Hercules, type Z, platform E, rail color: Black,
treads color: Black or Trex “Woodland Brown have been approved. DRB
application is required.
• When Trex railings are installed, they must match the color of the Trex
decking
• Trex railings may not be installed on pressure-treated wood decks.
