Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK is a leading provider of temporary, cost-effective and energy efficient solutions for long- or short-term demands, planned maintenance or unexpected emergencies.
We offer rental solutions for every application in the oil and gas industry whether upstream, midstream or downstream. Our fleet includes oil-free or oil lubricated compressed air, generators, and nitrogen – to name but a few. Atlas Copco Specialty Rental UK delivers a total solution to support a global project.
The work – a pre-commissioning pipeline project – consists of two phases, wet buckle contingency and a dewatering phase, and our highly-engineered assets are supporting both.
For the dewatering phase, our client was looking to achieve 2300scfm of nitrogen at 98% purity. We therefore recommended three of our Nitrogen Membrane Generators, the NGM3000, as it would deliver the purity and flow requested.
What’s more, to ensure optimum performance at all times, four Atlas Copco technicians will run the dewatering spread.
The solution, for the full scope of work, also includes four TwinAir 2800+ high-pressure compressors. The TwinAir 2800+ houses two identical diesel-driven air compressors in a single 20ft container, delivering pressure up to 35bar.
In addition, it comprises two diesel-driven containerised air boosters, the B18TT-62-3000 which offer pressure of up to 207bar; a 630kVA Generator; and three CD550+ Dryer Units. We are also providing two AF150 Filter Units, an MDU, flowmeter, and an air silencer.
